Can. Pours black with blue head that lasts. The aroma is granola, ube, marshmallow fluff, honey, tea. Slick body; similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, cereal wheat, enjoyed this.
Berries galore, berries for days, wrapped in delicious bourbon oak and vanilla hints. Jamminess dominates with hints of Blanton's and EC fun.
I can see why they called it old fashion, lots of bourbon notes mixed with lots of citrus honey notes. Bit of boozy heat on the finish in a fantastic way. I love traditionals and I love this bourbon hit of one.

Bottle acquired in the back of the Zymarium parking lot. It was a liability to let us in so close to opening without an official permit. Sat on the shelf for about a year. Shig's cider mead tasting. Had to convince Jamie to stick around for one more before slinking away. We were a little toasty & tired by this point. Dark cherry juice, ruby, some highlights, can't tell if it's clear; still. Dense cherry juice, pithy, sharp, rich honey vanilla nose. Taste is pretty sweet cherry jam, faded/mellow pie spice, vanilla & lemon, light oak, bitter skin, so heavy. Strong tartness down the middle. Very integrated cinnamon, which I think is a good thing. Less distinct honey than some other Zymarium stuff, just runny & sweet. Though it is better then the other endless varieties I've tried which were all too sweet. Lovely.

Bottle thanks to MicroGrog: Poured a thick dark purple with no head. Aroma is spicy, black cherry, cinnamon, spicy, vanilla. Taste cherry, honey, spicy, so flavorful, vanilla, cinnamon, those cherries fight through it.

Murky leaning clear, oily/leggy amber wine glass pour at the source. Sweet coffee, brown sugar, baker's chocolate, toasty nougat nose. Rich & oily honey, warming coffee & creme sweetness, with a strong current of assorted sharp citrus cutting through the middle. Coffee isn't screaming in your face. Finish has a faint touch of bitterness to dry it out. So great++.

Lot of build up to here. Bartender kept talking this one up. Seems like it's going to be a winner. Clear, still, pale gold. Floral, faint caramel, white grape. Grassy & floral, more grassy. Thin & dry, boring white table wine. Medium high lemon-y acid with a wince of tartness. Hot. Slight aspirin bite. Watery. Wax finish. Needs age. Decent but not great. Naked & nowhere to hide.

Loved the regular version. Pale gold, slight haze, a little oily, not very active. Earthy, caramel nose, soft vanilla. Dry, bite-y, earthy, moderately acidic, unripe citrus, very slight wax. Very subtle vanilla (or maybe my palate is shot). Maybe more acidic than the regular. Co2 was a little low. Why mess with a good thing?
