DRAFT at Kozlovna, Chișinău. Dark red-brown, creamy beige head. Very mealy aroma with just a little dark sugars. The taste, on the other hand, has quite a bit of chocolaty and coffee notes and very little proper sugar sweetness. Light hoppy/roasty bitterness in the aftertaste. The body is light, but the suspended haze and fine carbonation more than compensate that.

Bouteille 50cl, bottled 23/3/2018, merci Dorian, no BB.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear dark brown, sticky beige head. Smells like a bad pale lager upfront - harsh boozy notes, some dark sweet bread or muffin later on. The taste is quite dry and very bland - you'd be in trouble identifying this as a dark lager in blind tasting: Dry lagerish taste, next to none caramelized sugar or toasted/roast malts, light bitter finish of not the finest quality. (Only) drinkable.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear golden, white head with good lacing. The aroma is mostly bready and doughy malts, light lemon and sugar - like lollipops, some dusty grains - not offensive. The taste - light lemondrops and plain pale malt sugars, a hint of astringent grass but not much bitterness. When drank warm, you get a note of medicine, like coated pills, but that's its only shortcoming - other that that it is fairly clean. Another noticeable improvement over their older beers.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear yellow gold, white head with lacing. Lovely lemon and honey, with a subtle bread and cereal note. Perfectly clean - no industrial shit whatsoever. The taste is close to the aroma, only much weaker, unfortunately. The body is light, but not watery - which is the only letdown. Infinitely light grassy bitterness. Close to the very best German helles'es.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and lightly boiled vegetables. Flavour is very bland, with little if anything to speak of - maybe some straw, light vegetal character. Not much going on.
