Canned 8/5/25, drunk 10/21/25.
Clear, lightly-rusty amber with a large, beige head that steadily fades to ring.
Earthy, with mineral, dried leaves and a peppery hop character that is rounded by big, fruity esters from the yeast. Soft malts add lightly sweet bread and there's an almost peanut-like character that is odd, but charming.
Malty with brown bread, lightly toasted, and a gentle sweetness. Earthy, dusty, lightly grassy EKG do their weird thing as usual. Quite fruity, with a healthy bitterness to keep it crisp and dry on the finish. Lingering bread. Interesting and fairly complex, if a bit more toasted and hoppy than I'd think it needs to be.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale golden pour, high, fluffy white head, clumpy lacing. Light bready aroma with a hint of lemon. Taste is gentle, grainy, lemonade . Super smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink.

Canned 7/1/25, drunk 10/15/25.
Clear (though also pouring in the sediment at the end). Light tangerine-lemon-golden. Massive, white head. Good retention.
Sweet corn with floral hops and a touch of freshly cut grass. Perfumey pepper mixing with rustic grains. Clean and brightly aromatic.
Rich maltiness with a sweetness coming from at least the corn. Interesting, varied, complex grain notes with gently bitter hops and excellent malt depth and attenuation. Clean and balanced with above-average bitterness. Floral notes, lemon and rustic grains lingering. Quenching and highly flavorful, especially for its size.

Canned 8/5/25, drunk 10/7/25.
Light haziness, kind of odd, with a lemon color and a clumpy, white head.
Floral hops mix with softer citrus juice and rich, crisp yeast tones, as rustic grains balance easily. Clean and aromatic, without too much emphasis on hop. Hint of gummy fruits.
Malty and chewy texture with high attenuation. Low bitterness but tons of fruity hop character with gummy worms and juicy citrus candies. Bitterness comes up front but fades quickly leaving more white bread/honey-like malt lingering alongside the fruity, juicy hops on the finish. Love all the flavor here, but I wish it were just a touch more dry and/or bitter on the finish. Not that it's too sweet, you just get too much malt/fruit/juice character on the finish, I think.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with lots of deep bourbon, sticky toffee, dark dried fruits, and bready caramel. Flavour is exquisitely complex, with rich sticky dark sugars, toffee galore, brown sugar, and wrapped in a wonderful bourbon character. Rich, balanced and complex. Wonderful.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has dry bready malt, maybe a touch of dry toffee. Flavour is heavily malty, with caramel malt, bready notes, and a syrupy palate that, to me, excludes it from being a proper alt. Not working for me.

On tap at Bizarre, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has gentle smoke, like a grodziskie, with straw, and toasted malt. Flavour seems like a grodziskie to me, with soft wheat and a touch of faint campfire smoke. Pretty soft and restrained. Clean but unremarkable.

Tavour Can: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is smoked wood, grain. Taste is nicely smoked, doesn't diminish too much. Smoky. Bready. Pretty good.
