0,5 l can. Nearly clear dark golden with an huge white head. Smells low malty. Taste starts with a malty and grain sweetness, grassy, low fruity in the baclground, smooth. Low carbonation. Nothing really wrong but also nothing special.

0.5 l bottle, best before September 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, quite grassy aroma of grains and straw. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, rather dry and slightly grassy taste of grains, straw and a touch of iron, followed by a short, moderately bitter, very dry and a bit grassy finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very dry, rather tasteless, okay.

500ml bottle: BBE Sep 17. Drank in my hotel room on 9th May 17. Clear golden body, white head that faded swiftly. Grainy, corn like nose, fairly sweet taste. Decent enough but expected more depth and body.

07-05-17 // 500ml can at Hamburg Main Station. Macro lager from the can, not a pleasure. Drinkable, with a mild bitter hop finish. Grainy body. Smooth.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle, best before March 2017. Slightly hazy, amber with a frothy, white head. Sweetish, slightly grainy and minimally grassy aroma of straw, grains and slightest hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly grainy and a bit grassy taste of straw, grains and some caramel, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit grassy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle (ottos mops kotzt): "Dirty" golden, hazy, medium-sized and quite stable off-white head; mild to moderate malty-worty nose with a mild dryish-bitter background; mild to moderate - again - sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit sticky; sweetish grainy finish with a low bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit too much on the sweet side, but all in all a drinkable Bier...

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Mildly grainy malty aroma with a whiff of bread and caramel, slightly floral hops in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with notes of caramel but only shades of floral hops in the background; mildly sweet cara-malty and delicately hop bitter finish. Starts almost promising but gets weaker and weaker towards the finish. Nevertheless better than expected. 04.X.16
