0,33 l bottle. The brewer told me, that this is the same receipe as Hopfenfänger Ale No. 2, but in a smaller batch on his own equipment. Murky yellow in the glass. Taste really different than the Hopfenfänger. Smoother, more fruit. Not bad.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine fruity aroma with notes of lemon. Starts mild but not washy, fine hoppy-fruity, notes of lemon and apricot. Finish still mild, less fruity, dry-malty notes. Not bad!

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light brownish, small head. Starts malty, dry, a bit earthy, more and more metallically, still dry. Light rusty. Finish a bit more balanaced. Okay.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts dry-malty, grasy-hoppy, a bit metallically. More and more dry, wheaty, yeasty. Finish a bit boring. Could be more complex, but still okay.

0,5 l longneck bottle, bought directly at the brewhouse. Simple label design. Murky pale dark orange in the glass, very small head. Low grassy on the nose. Starts thin with sourish malt and dry gain, later more grainy with a short mid bitterness. Grain and straw at the end. Very low carbonated. Can not really convince.

0,5 l bottle, bought at the brewhouse. Simple red white label. 4,9 % alc named on the backlabel. Unclear and pale yellow in the glass. Small white head. Low malt and grass on the nose. Starts grainy malty with a surprising hop herb. Followed by a longer straw and grain sequence, dry, with a dull longer lasting bitterness. A Helles with real taste. Really not bad!

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with airy, small white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Lingering, bitter aftertaste with hints of metal. Not bad but would be better without the metallic touch.

Tap @ Schüttinger Brauerei, Bremen. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light caramel, light fruity and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Prickly carbonation, that I didn’t like. 150613
