(BRABANTE OSCURA) Marrón rojiza. Espuma poco duradera. Aroma a malta tostada. En boca parecido, Malta, algo de café y un final seco, dentro de un tono general algo aguado que estropea el conjunto. De todas formas se bebe bien.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle, still from the original Gouden Boom brewery. Golden color. Aroma’s: a bit sweet malts, fruity. Flavor malt/grain, hardly any sweetness. Alcohol feel is rather strong. Medium bodied. Finish is long, but no new flavors.

33cl bottle at Taj Mahal, Brugge. Pours clear golden with a decent, white head. Medium fruity with notes of Belgian yeast, spices and malt. Medium sweet with flavour on the mild side, but fair enough. Nothing special, but quite okay.
