Bottle. Slightly dark gold with a high, fine head. Hop and golden malt aroma, grass, honey; very fruity. Well hoppy, peppery flavor. Nice and well-balanced with good hops plus nice, rich malt. Very clean. Rather orthodox.

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, raisins and dark bread. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, ryvita, caramel and a slightly spicy, herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with some sweetness. Overall well balanced and quite tasty.

Flaske 0,33l delt med Rune 19 Mai 10. Gyldengul på farge. Mye partikler/flak. Ser ut som en mislykket urinprøve. Svakt fruktig aroma. Gjennomgående vassen smak. Litt sitrus.

Pours deep gold into a tulip Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving slower sheets. Tropical fruit, candi and yeast aromas. Sweetly spiced tropical fruits upfront turning dry and cloyingly sweet in the hot, lasting candi finish.

Had this at the Pittsburgh Great European Beer Festival at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium 6/2010. Hazy pale lager eye. Typical strong clean belgy aromas. Rather strong initial flavors yet well behaved and refined. Hides alky content well I guess for an 8%. Decent anmount of CO2. Rubbery at times, same on finish.

330ml bottle shared with Finn. Minimal, but stable white head. Unclear, light yellow body with lots of particles floating around. Mild aroma of fruits and wheat. Rather stale taste of ripe banana and citric fruits added by a spicy touch. Leaves behind an impression of vapidity (Tromsø, 19.05.2010).

Bottle. An unclear, yellowish orange beer with a small, white head leaving lacings. Mashed apples and a spiced touch. Quite dry in the mouth, medium bodied, with flavors of citrus and pale malty sweetness. A rather simple beer, goes down easily, but gives you almost nothing, 100522
