Thick looking amber with a sudsy head. Light male and hip nose a bit of citrus, too. Taste has plenty of malt for a lager-y style. I am reminded of the Northern Brewer hop from Anchor, though this comes in a little thicker than I remember the Anchor Steam. Gone dinner evening beer.

Foam starts to gush just as I pop the tab, but I got it into the glass just in time. Opaque pinkish orange under a big rocky head.Plum smell is the first thing to my nose as I'm waiting for the foam to settle. Taste opens with mostly tartness. But the blackberry comes along at the same time. Sourness does play along. Would go well with a soft French cheese.

16oz can. Quite a delicious example of the style. Not sure what hops they use, but they work, almost adding a Mosaic Blueberry tone to the chocolate-banana. Well balanced, drinkable. Really good.

16oz can. Pretty nice hop combination, Riwaka is still the dominator. Nectaron and Nelson flesh it out though, and overall it is a solid NZ hazy. Good.
