Bottle. Metallic hop nose. Golden, no visible carbonation, low foam. Light mellow sweet malt base, ok hop balance, falters on the aftertaste. Medium body. Drinkable but not exiting - much better than the first time I had it though.

Pours pale gold with weak head. The aroma is grainy, sugary malt sweet along with floral hoppiness. It smells pretty good for the style. The taste has malty and graininess to go along side a pulse of spice and floral hops. Just as in the aroma this seems pretty solid for the style.

Bottle. Poured dull gold with fast dissipating white head. Much lacing. Aroma of hops and new mown hay. Flat malt flavour. Not much depth or breadth. Fast disappearing finish, bit more malt, mpt memorable. This looked good, smelled good, but turned very ordinary.

13/08 A 0.5 l bottle from a gas station somewhere around Trencin, Slovakia. Poured reddish brown body with smaller brownish head that lived quite short. Caramel and coffee are what you can find in its aroma. Flavor is relatively similar, with caramel being not too sweet and coffee being not too bitter, making it pleasant, but unfortunately as of its thin body not so nice, plus as of some strange wood in flavor. Finish is shorter, quite neutral with that wood being most obvious to me. Fine, but would be much better if not lacking so much body.

13/08 A 0.5 l bottle from a gas station somewhere around Trencin, Slovakia. Poured golden body with head average in every aspect. Corny malty aroma, sweetish, typical for macro pale lager. Flavor sweet as well, malty in flowery way with some odd bitterness making it even worse. Not very watery but thin bodied anyway. Quite short and boring bitterish finish. Nothing unpleasant and very drinkable, but it’s just another boring macro pale lager.

11/08 0.5 l can from a gas station somewhere around Trencin, Slovakia. This poured nice reddish brown body with medium sized ocher head. Sugary and caramel aroma with some coffee. Flavor is sweet, dominated by the caramel, very pleasant but just as simple. Also quite full bodied, specially when you consider so low alcohol content. Nice finish as well, but still a bit too sweet. I quite liked this dunkel.

11/08 0.5 l can from a gas station somewhere around Trencin, Slovakia. Poured lighter golden body with medium sized head. Standard malty aroma, grass hopped, seemed to me more than 10° version. Slightly sweet malty flavor, flowery and a bit grassy. Some hops are felt in the finish as well, as lightly sour notes of overall sweet brew. Not bad, relatively full bodied and pleasant, but still boring and as such far from something good.
