0.5l bottle that pours a deep deep brown body with a small reddish hue and a big chocolate-tanned dense head. Aroma is light sweet and roasted with notes of thin chocolate and red caramel. Soft carbonation, quite full-bodied and it has a thick and oily mouthfeeling. Tasted quite nice. Light sweet, mild roasted, some chocolate and some licorice. Ends really caramel- and chocolate-sweet . Good porter!

Half liter bottle pours a perfect mahogany with thick mocha head. The aroma offers up blueberry, concord grape jam, a bit of roast, a bit of earthiness and then some chocolate. The taste is just down right yummy and it only seems to get better the more I consume. It starts with blueberry, and concord grape like in the nose and also heads into some malt roastiness, a nice level of earthiness and then some chocolate brownie. Wow! Love it. It finishes with a thin layer of chocolate blueberry nectar sweetness and lingering earthiness and malt roastiness. Damn and only $2.59 for a half liter bottle.

16.9 oz bottle into English pint. Pours black with deep burgandy hues showing through when held up to the light. Has a medium light tan head that dissipates in a couple of minutes leaving a blanket of foam and some lace. Aroma is ripe black cherries, Whoppers, a hint of roasted coffee. Taste is bittesweet with a touch of sour. Has a milk chocolate taste. The coffee flavor is much more pronounced in flavor than aroma. Flavor is not as strong as the aroma. Carbonation and body are medium. Not bad ’tall.

Bottle, into a snifter. Deep black color, full but rather quickly dissipating coarse dark tan head. Wonderful, rich chocolate and raisins some smoke and roasted malts are on the nose. Flavors are similar, some dark brown sugar and a little wet wood as well. fairly sweet, even for a Baltic. Lively carbonation and a rather lighter body than others of the style. Lingering smokey slightly bitter trailer.
