Associated Venue: Component Brewing Company (Lincoln Warehouse #169)
We’ve dedicated years to experimenting with different styles, ingredients and flavor profiles that allow us to devote 20 tap lines to our own beers – some generally true to style and some a little off-the-wall – to quench our thirst for adventure (and yours)!
We love our beer, but at the end of the day our brand is family. We hope you’ll come to know us by our last name, but call us by our firsts. Our patrons are extensions of our own family unit, so we invite you, your offspring, your grandmas, uncles, in-laws, dogs, exes, ex’s dogs, neighbors or prospective lovers to pop on in and let us pour you a beer.
Cheers,
Jon, DJ and Steve Kowalske

Tap at Component. Big pretzely, rich malt tone. No festbier, this is thick, rich, heavy...could just about pass for a Doppelbock. Hearty stuff. Clean lagering. Solid.

Tap at Component. Cool fruit flavors, luckily not dominated by the pineapple. Soursop comes through well, guava as well. Soft on the palate and light as opposed to smoothie sours, but still a big, bold fruit tone. I'd love to believe they used fruit from the domes. Fruit juice dominated, but quite tasty.

Tap at Component. Big corn tone. Motueka takes it in more of a white wine NZ direction than lime. Drinkable, sessionable.

3/VIII/24 - 1Pt. can as a gift, shared @ home, BB: n/a (2024-661) Thanks to Ryan C. for the can!
Cloudy pale yellow beer, huge creamy irregular yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: oh my god, yes, this is the real deal! Lots of marijuana, tropical fruits, juicy, super dank, more tropical fruits, oh man, this is my juice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, very juicy, citrus notes, marijuana, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: lovely, very dank, marijuana, citrus, hoppy, grassy, a little sweet, juicy, dank, super nice, lovely!

Can shared at tasting. Murky pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are lightly malty, green hops, fresh tropical fruit hops. Not bad for a NEIPA 😬

Tap at Component. Riwaka just dominates like it does. Moutere and Motueka certainly add depth, giving it a real NZ feel..I would have flipped for this in 2015. I don't really enjoy the body, but undeniable hop tone, sort of a slow sipper. Sort of what the style should be, certainly better than average.

Tap at Component. Malty, rich, pretty solid example of the style. Has the hop balance, nice malt tone. Good.

Tap at Component. Crisp,.clear, bready, with a nice noble hop dryness. Easy drinking, classic stuff.

Aromas are citrus, straw and bell pepper. Flavors are similar to nose, add in some cut grass and a bit too sweet up front and bitter in the finish. Decent.

Deep amber-brown body. Thin beige head. A pretty respectable WInter Warmer. Spices are well incorporated enough. Vanilla smooths and sweetens the whole thing out a little unnecessarily. Fruitcake tone. OK.
