(Can, 0.473l, thanks GodOfThunder, 20230908) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grapefruit, citrus fruits. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapefruit, herbalness, nettles, spiciness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, herbal and bitter. Tasty.

Oof, this is hop water. Strong grassy gop flavors, with little malt to balance. Medium bitterness, very cloudy/hazy. Seems typical of the hazy trend to make it all hop flavor and nothing else. Not working for me.

Decent but it could be hoppier. The saaz doesn't really hit home here, not getting them! Malts are bready, even almost caramel. Decent enough beer but doesn't ring true as a pils.

Its a pale lager, yep that's what it is lol. Its really not bad, well done stab at the style. Almost no malt flavors, with a good tasting hop wack and bitter finish. Hop aromas even, which are a tad grassy. Zingy.

Well it is what it is. Executed very well. The orange and vanilla come through plainly enough, the underlying hazy IPA is OK. It really tastes like an orange julius or orange creamcicle type drink. Neat but I'm not sure I could drink a pint of this sort of thing. Super haze.

Wow, this is stellar. Notable cab barrel flavors and aroma jump out at you, with mild chocolate notes. Lots of things you might get an a pastry stout type profile, but here it is presented in a much lighter bodied drinkable beer with that black lager base. This is a really great idea, a great recipe, and great execution. I want to see more like this, no more impy stouts!

Grainy flavors, and surprisingly vinous with grape-like notes throughout. Amber color, medium bodied. Light fruit flavors, mild bitterness at finish. Despite listing as a lager, this drank as an amber ale, and a significantly above average one in that regard.

On tap at Free the Whales. Pours black with large tan head that lasts. The aroma is dark chocolate and brownie batter. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, boozy finish, very nice.

Bottle at Free the Whales. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is lime zest, earth, basil, salt. Thin body, lime, basil, peppers, light tartness, good.
