This beer had a nice brown hue. It’s smell wasn’t rediculous, but the head was big and frothy, yet not long lasting. I would have to say this is a nicely balanced beer that I believe anyone could enjoy. If you are stranded in Switzerland and see this brew, give it a try as it is quite tastey.

Lightly grainy malt and hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of biscuit malt, mild hops and a bit of grass. The finish is malty with a sweet grain aftertaste. Average all around.

Bottle on the boat between Vitznau and Luzern. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium foamy ivory white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Sticky small patches of lacing. Sweet grainy malt and mild hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of pale malts, grain and hops. The finish is malty at first and leaves a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
