Would Russ Abbott like this beer? I don't know the answer but I'm undecided. Excellent honeycomb style coffee notes, which is actually the caramel impact, maybe an acquired taste though being rich

Cask @ Sadlers Cat, Manchester. Clear light golden with a small head. Hopped brew with its bitterness almost sour in design. Its hoppiness is quite tasty though.

Cask @ Molly House, Manchester. Dark golden-amber with a small head. Fruity bitter, about equal measure so not a particularly heavy bitterness, with a somewhat stewed taste.

Cask at Magnet, Stockport. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium sized foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. There’s floral hops and malts in the aroma plus some buttery hints. In the mouth it is pretty sweet but with some traces of bitterness too. It is smooth and gentle with flavour from floral hops and oranges. Later on the hops increase their presence and there are traces of spice, citrus and kiwi leading to a slightly bitter finish. This is quite nice, though I’m not sure it’s really an IPA.

1/3 pint, draught, shared with Finn at Green Arches. Covering white head, unclear golden body, dotted spots on the glassware. Moderate floral fruity aromas. Wheat, and dough fruity flavours, hints of peaches. Smooth, mid-sweet fruity end. True to the style, more or less. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).

Third pint, draught, shared with Finn at Green Arches. Remaining white head, clear warm golden body, fair lacing. Plain cereal malty nose. Similar taste of cereal malts with hints if dusty hops. Rounded mid dry end. Clean on the swallow. Decent, easy drinking, lager. (Manchester, 21.03.2024).
