Description
Jawbone Brewing is the realisation of Ben’s vision to shake up South London’s beer scene. It’s a mission that’s brought him to a working boatyard in Twickenham, where he has built a 30hl brewery and BeerDock taproom. Here he’s applying his philosophy of introducing bold flavours across the vast spectrum of beer styles. It’s a process borne out of constant innovation, perfectionism and a relentless enthusiasm for great beer.

Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma is quite pungent - charcoal with cacao. Tart berries. Dark. Inky. The blackness. Creamy beige head. The flava is less abrasive than the aroma. However the characteristics are present - heavily bitter charcoal and cacao. Hints of subtle underlying creamy vanilla. Light-medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. A big 6% Stout.

Can ordered from Elusive. Aroma had sweet stone fruit and a woody edge. Pale hazy gold. Fluffy foamy white head - translucent and thins out. Light-medium sour with a bitter edge. Citrus. Vinous. Spice. Develops a (not overly) sweet element - it doesn't intrude. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice.
