Tap at the brewpub. Bright gold, clear, with a nice thick head. Nose is biscuity malt, lemony noble hops. Rich, bready malt flavor, crisp hoppiness, nice bitter finish. Works very well.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown, lightly cloudy, with lace. Nose of coffee, chocolate, caramel. Flavor is coffee and caramel, also lightly fruity, some grapes. Lightly roasty. Well balanced. Coffee is nice without taking over everything.

Tap at Tall Boys. Hazy, bright golden color. Low head. Aroma is citrus and estery stone fruit, rounded honey malts. Flavor is fruity and soft, estery. Body soft and rounded. Tasty but I prefer their regular lagers.

Can at the brewpub. Pale amber with a nice head. Clear at first, then got yeast from the bottom. Nutty, toasty malt nose, with some stone fruit esters and light herbal hops. Flavor is light caramel, more toast and nuts, esters. Somewhere between an old amber marzen and a modern festbier. Nice balance.

Tap at Gifu Beer Festival. Clear gold. Malty and rich nose with grassy Saaz hops. Bready malt flavor, nicely hopped though not huge. Clean bitterness, no butter at all. Very easy drinking and crisp.

Tap at Gifu Beer Festival. Pale hazy gold. Nice fruity nose, orange, grapefruit, passion fruit and tropical. Light malty biscuits. Clean, fruity flavor, not pasty or too sweet or thick. Citrus and tropical fruits. Rather light and crisp for the style, and finishes dry with moderate bitterness. Nice.
