On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out grapefruit zest and toasted bready malt. Flavour is quite odd, with a sort of toasted sweet chestnut / hazelnut flavour, with only minor presence of sweet grapefruit. Rather intriguing upon the first few sips, but the sweetness becomes a bit too much the more you drink. Okay.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver; 414ml
Cloudy pale yellow color with small head. We got a SMASH, a pale color, and a new citrusy hop; expectations were very high. In the end one gets a fairly well crafted beer, clean, but the malt base is too simple, and the hops provide a very moderate citrusy or lemony character; it also has a light grassy touch in the final. It’s light and dry, surely quite drinkable in the sun.
A pleasant beer, but there are many widely available beers out there that are more interesting than this one.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose brings out toastsd biscuity malt atop piney hops and a bit of an English character. Flavour is similar, with crisp crackery and biscuity malt serving as a backbone for spicy, piney hops. Balanced well and quite clean. Nothing special but a well-brewed IPA.

Golden color, clean, with creamy head. The pale malt defines a modern IPA, unfortunately the malt is not that good, and the hops are a bit dusty and earthy, a bit sweaty, almost old, not bright; strong bitterness and good amount of hop resins.
A decent beer, but not the freshest IPA; a bit more is expected from Odin.

Draught at Stateside Craft, Vancouver, as Odin Dirty Jackhammer, 8.5% ABV
Cloudy dark amber/mahogany color with small beige head. Vinous aroma, very nice, sour, fruity, fruit flies, some malt. It has a good malt backbone, the mouthfeel is relatively round, partially sweet, the sourness is moderate, it has a good fruity touch, vinous, a bit dusty, but also woody, and the final is lightly astringent.
Bold, pleasant. Excellent.
