Opaque, the tropical fruits are big on both aroma and palate. Bright orangey character, even has some bitterness. Good stuff.

On tap at Steamworks Mount Pleasant. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Straw, biscuit malts, and a bit of dry grass on the nose. Flavour has hay, grassy hops, pale biscuity malts. Fine, clean, but pretty uninteresting.

473ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Spicy aroma of wheat, ginger, coriander and floral hops. Spicy flavour of wheat, ginger, lemongrass, coriander, yeast and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average to soft carbonation. The ginger dominates, but it's still refreshing and crushable.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy blonde with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange peel, apricot, Belgian yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, apricot, cantaloupe, Belgian yeast and spicy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. The dry-hopping makes this seem more like an IPA than a Saison, but whatevs. It's tasty and refreshing.

Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, pineapple, passionfruit, earthy yeast, oats and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy, oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and abv is well hidden.

Dark brown, no head. Sort of a toasty aroma. Palate is sweet, underhopped, some caramel, touch of coffee, not much body for 10%. Okay this has some ok malt development but nowhere near the malt or hop richness the style demands. It’s a poor man’s Baltic. I mean, it's their first impie so we'll see what happens next.

Opaque, medium head. Soft body, a bit creamy, moderately bitter, low kiwi hop note…probably needs more, and some bitterness would help it come across. Good beer, with a bit of potential left on the table.

Nice riwaka here, one of my loves. Grapefruit and tangerine. Murky yellow pour with pretty good head. Light bitter end. Nice body for a hazy. Can.

On tap at Darby’s, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some chaotic estery notes, a touch of apricot, and hay — not a good expression of the saison yeast. Flavour is much the same, with muted apricots, dry hay, and some estery saison yeast that just doesn’t seem well-harnessed. Nothing egregious but this just isn’t a well-calibrated saison.
