Bottle, 75cl corked, at Jæren Ølfestival. A dark golden colored mead, still and headless. The aroma has a pleasant raspberry touch, with raspberry leaves, birch sap, generic fruityness and a good dash of honey. It’s full-bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, with a honey driven flavor. Raspberry, birch sap, generic fruityness and a faint lemony hint. Warming, sweet honey driven finish. A nice one indeed, the raspberry adds another level to the mead. 220813

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Jæren Ølfestival. A clear one, pale golden in color, with no carbonation or head. The aroma is a bit rough, honey, spiced and wood hints, birch sap, and some generic fruityness. It’s full to medium bodied, very softly carbonated and rather sweet, yet with some dryish qualities. Lemon, birch sap, honey, spice notes and a perfumed hint in the flavor. Long finish. A bit dull and edgy this one. 220813
