Great Dane Russian Imperial Stout 9%
Deep inky black with rusty tan foam and a roasty chocolatey aroma. Full bodied with a bit of a raspy carbonation. The taste is exemplary. It is a spot on Russian imperial stout with light roasted notes, dark bitter chocolate and even hints of berries. Sincerely delicious.

Can shared, darker amber beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, bitter. Taste is the same, grain, metallic, malt, caramel, bitter, meh.

22/10/2024. Draft at Craft Beer Market. Toranomon, Tokyo. Pours hazy pale orange gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is orange, mango, stone fruits, pomelo, touch of herb. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Nice.

Great Dane Brewing 007 American Pale Ale APA 5.5% Nice orange-amber color with thick beige foam and a sweet citrusy pine aroma. Medium bodied with sweet citrus and pine though after a bit I also got some clay notes. Very similar old skool flavors as the Everyday IPA but fuller bodied and with more depth.

The name evokes Founders All Day IPA and so did the ABV. Great Dane Brewing Everyday IPA 4.7% The aroma is fresh grains and herbal green piney hops. Light bodied and the taste adds honeyed malt notes. The flavor profile is pine and citrus. Honestly, the aroma on cracking open the can made me think of walking into a brew house. It’s got an old skool feel but is crisp and clean.
Vienna maybe. But not much going on here. No hoppiness, not much maltiness. Nothing wrong but kind of… nothing to it.

Can. Brown-amber with a tall tan head. Pretty beer. Nutty, toasty nose of caramel, chocolate fudge, and a bit of spicy hops. Rich and malty, some esters, spicy hops. Quite deep malt flavor is very nice. Finishes slightly bitter. Nice.

Can. Slightly hazy, golden orange, with a low, thick head. Big citrus nose, stone fruits, some tropical fruit, honey malt, biscuit, light caramel. Rich sweet malt flavor, peaches, oranges, a bit or tropical fruit. There is a touch of resin and of caramel, grapefruit. A good everyday drinker, slightly old school but modernized.

Can. Mild nose, sweet rice and malt, light citrus and herbal hops. Pale gold, slightly hazy, with a low thick head. Sweet and citrusy, mild, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Rather silky body, light, soft, with gentle carbonation. I could definitely see drinking a couple of these--ice cold--when getting out of the hot springs.

Can. Bright citrus hop nose leads the way with lemon and orange. Toasty caramel malt. nice nose. Medium orange-amber, clear, with a high, airy head. More malt comes out in the mouth, nutty, toasty, caramel, only slightly sweet. Citrus hops still there. Dry finish is lightly bitter. Light body, super quaffable, medium carbonation. A pretty great lager for pounding!
