On tap at The Front Door Pours out a amber topped with a cream white head. A nice aroma of floral hops. Tast of light hops very little bitter. A nice brew for a hot summer day. Damb it is only February.

Bottle (conditioned!) Impressive citrus and floral aromas. Light amber color with a frothy white head. Medium body with creamy/chewy carbonation. The flavor is hop above pale malt, lightly roasted. The finish is nicely balanced and the bitter tends to build. It’s just an excellent brew.

Strong resin aroma. Light mahogany color with a white head that is forthcoming. Near full bodied with a light, mild, creamy carbonation. The flavor is strongly pine. Very. So where is the strong malt and the floral hop? It’s present, but very underlying. The finish is like a very strong ESB. Which is where the florality comes in. So this is not a simple presentation. As time goes on, the floral aspects accumulate. Which makes this one of the best barley wines. Sorry, should you disagree. Because it is just excellent. And my perception is all over the map.

Strong malty caramel aroma with some floral hop. Slightly hazy, orange/red tinged amber coloer. The off-white head was enthusiastic but left rapidly. It did try to lace. Near medium in body with firm carbonation. Starts with caramel and floral malts. Finish is nicely balanced. It’s really good, and somewhat approximates an ESB.

Bottle Deep dark black with a coarse spotty tan head. Roasted and dark leather. Eaethen and coffee notes as well. Flavor is roasted and coffee. Quite strong bitterness and the body is a bit thin. Carbonation a soft. Hoping for a bit more from a local outfit. Named aftet a pestacide....I was forewarned. Thanks Jordan for sharing.

Yet another extra from footy (you rule, man!) - fizzy black beer, with a small ring of tan lace - aroma of wet ash, tobacco, leather - fairly high carbonation in the mouth - flavors of spent coffee grounds, tobacco, burnt brown sugar - rather high bitterness - ashy finish, with strong alcohol - a beer for people that eat steak at every meal and chew on cigars all day long - not my thing so much.

Bomber from cbkschubert last year; Nose of chocolate, roasty smokiness, and light hopiness; opaque black with a virtually non exsistant head; flavor is bittersweet chocolate, licorise, and slight hop bitterness and alcohol lasting to the finish. Interesting but not great!

Bottle pours a slear light amber with a modest sandy colored head with blocky lacing. Sllightly sweet woody malt aroma and moderate in most respects. Balanced I suppose, just unremarkable.

Bottle Pours a slightly hazy llight orange amber with a small off white head. Spotty lacing. Modest hoppy aroma and the requisite slightly sweet maltiness. Basice tame IPA flavors, even at a decent %6 could be ramped up a bit. Thanks BuckDich

Bottle: Pours a clear amber with a fluffy little white head. Aroma is faint of sweet maltiness with a hint of... well it’s a bit nondescript. Yeah, that’s right I can’t put my finger on it. Taste is a balance of hops and maltiness with a little spice and a little earthiness. Thanks Jordan for sharing the newest bottled ales from the valley.
