Bottled. Nut brown, minimal head. Fruity malt aroma. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied and a bit syrupy. Low hop rate allows solid fruity malt to dominate. Rather clean flavour profile. Lightly salty finish. Simple, but not bad at all.

Can
Clear copper brown color, small brownish head. Metallic, caramelly, a bit unclean aroma. Harsh grassy hoppyness, almost like in some German kellerbier. Alcoholic, but not totally hopeless, quite like typical Russian "temnoe".

Can "Tian-Sian 11º Svetloe" (BB 06/2006)
Pale yellow, not much head. Aroma is harsh malty with metallic notes. Very watery, carbonated, harsh, vegetables notes in the finish. Totally lacking malts. But another new country :)

Pours a clear golden. Fruity-minty hop note. Very light malt. Light body. Finish is quick. Kazakh equivalent of Labatt Blue Light.

Cherrywood colour. Flavour has a firm alcoholic smack with strong toffee overtones. Sweet, earthy, chewy and dense - like bottled Devils Food cake.

Light amber colour. Cidery, grainy, slightly phenolic (paint) aroma. Fairly light, watery palate but with more of those unpleasant phenols.

Slightly spicy hop note with thin malts, leading to a dryish finish. Very faint apple notes that could easily be attributed to the hops. Light straw colour.

Named after the mighty mountain range in the southeast of the country you are lead to believe that the beer will be fresh as a mountain creek. But no, already the smell of old wollen socks tells you that your assumption was wrong. This is a golden coloured sweetish and unclean standard lager with low bitterness.
