4 month old pint can A: Pours thick purple brown with very little head of tan froth which fell quickly to a ring. S: Roasty coffee and chocolate with a hint of fig. T: Bitter at first with earthy and herbal hop notes blending with fairly light nutty and bitter chocolate malty notes. M: Surprisingly high carbonation cuts the body. Light, clean and dry. O: Not bad but unexpectedly a bit too hoppy and fizzy. It detracts IMO.

Pale yellow from a pounder can. Got as a gift from my daughter in NC. Decent fading head. Decent co2, quite refreshing. A little bit of hops in there. Could have a few more manners but it grows on me as I approach the middle. Not bad overall. A little sweet in the end but never gets to the point of cloying.

3 month old pint can A: Finely hazed pale straw yellow pour with a stubborn white frothy head. S: Heavy spruce, pine and toffee aroma with a hint of orange and zest. T: Fairly tart and bitter with pronounced lemon-lime flavors. Sweet bread notes back up the hops which finish pithy. Sort of lemon cookie flavor. M: Stiff carbonation scrub and light crisp body. Minimal resin. O: Tasty enough but pretty simple It's mainly lemon-lime and sweet bread. Mediocre to pretty good overall.
