Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tsingtao”) was established in 1903 by German and British merchants as Germania-Brauerei Tsingtao Co., Ltd. As one of the earliest breweries in China, Tsingtao is currently the sixth largest brewer in the world.

200ml in restaurant. Clear dark red, small head. Smells floral, a little roasted, caramel. Light bitterness and sweetneaa, light body.

Bottle at BBT 03/2022.Dark chestnut color with thick beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, light coffee. Taste, coffee, roasted malt, nutty notes.

Dark Brown color with medium beige head. Aroma:roasted malt, sweet coffee, milky coffee. Taste: sweet coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Med to full body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Above average.

Bottle at BBT 2/2022. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Med-high sweetness initially on top, eventually overtaken by medium roasty bitterness. Light astringency. Centered on malt character, med-high caramel, medium roasted chocolate-coffee, light toffee. Actually not bad, too caramelly, but drinkable. Okay.

Bottle via Seoul Plaza. Shitloads of oxidation, lots of caramel flavour and sweetness. Med-high bitterness, med-high sweetness too. Not much in terms hops character, there is light red apple, red fruits and resiny flavour. Feels really old, killed by wrong handling. Average-bad.

Bottle at BBT 03/2022. Amber color ugh thick white head. Very bad aroma with caramel, old malt, oxidation. Taste, heavily oxidized, tons of caramel, candies, no hops.

Clear golden color with medium white head. Aroma: hard candies, caramel, cardboard. Taste: hard candies, caramel, cardboard, strawy, grassy. Medium body, moderate carbonation, low to moderate carbonation. Not good.
