[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear golden, no head. Grassy hay-like nose. Very dry and crisp. Really hoppy with slender body and good bitterness. Of all the beers entered in the pilsener contest this was the most true pilsener style, and IMO also possibly the best.

Bottle. Huge head - might be a little too much. Aroma is powerful but a little too much barnyard about it. Lots of honey in flavor.

A slightly hazy orange-red beer with a huge fluffy light orange head. The aroma is hoppy and spicy - I pick up a peppery note. The flavor is sweet malty with strong fruity notes of slightly over ripe oranges, but the sweetness is soon balanced out by the hops, coming at you with a spiciness and dustiness as well as a slight citrus note. The hops turns the end dry and quite bitter - and the bitterness lingers for a long time. A nicely made Danish bitter. I think it could improve slightly with a little less carbonation - it feels quite sparkling on the tongue.
