300ml green bottle with a golden top. Soapy, white foam over a straw coloured body. Rounded malty smell with citric notes. Slightly sweet malty flavour combined with grassy hops. So far so good, but after a while in the glass both smell and taste get an oily touch. Dry, abrupt ending. Thin palate (Thanks to Eva for bringing the bottle from Sfax in Tunisie)(25.05.2007).

Golden color, not much head. Grassy, papery hoppy aroma. Positive suprise - ok this is watery, but you can trace hops ... grassy ones ... there. A bit old bottle, but suprisingly survived well, this is a bit like those German pilseners from LIDL.

(Can 24 cl) Lightly hazy pilsener golden with a small, creamy head. Nose of malt and cardboard. Light body with some malt and a sourish tang of brewing cereal. Very discreet bitterness. 260106

A pale yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is slightly sour and skunky - I suspect brewing cereal is part of this. The flavor is dry, sour malty, combined with ligth notes of corn. Thank to Alex (fiulijn) for getting me this one.

Normally, I wouldn't rate a beer that was 18 months old and came in a green bottle, but this showed no ill effects. It was firm, with a light malt accent and faintly bready notes. A decent, respectable, and apparently indestructable beer - better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick, I'd say.
