Clear copper colour with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have some toasted caramel malts. Also a rounded floral bitterness. Definitely in the English style as described. Well balanced and sessionable.

Black. Aroma is coffee green thick leaves vanilla some roast. Well balanced and deep. Taste is light sweet cocoa with thick coffee bitterness and huge roast. All not aggressive and mouthfeel is quite smooth. Excellent balance and really tastes like more than 7 abv.

(Bottle, 23 Dec 2022) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with dried apricots, dark bread, caramel, orange and spices. Fruity, malty taste with notes of dried apricots, chocolate, wort bread, caramel, raisins, orange and a gentle spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, clean and well made dubbel. Very nice.
