Bottle, courtesy of Beer5000. A lightly hazy deep golden colored mead, slightly oily, still and headless. The aroma is rather vinous and alcoholic, with honey and flowers in the back. Citrus juice, lemon and grapefruit, and some green apples too. It's medium to full-bodied, not as warming as expected, flat and with a light tartness. Like in the aroma, the flavor is rather weak on the honey. Green apples, lemon, wild flowers and a hint of grass, stretching into a medium length finish. A decent one, but I'd prefer either more honey or less alcohol. 200617

KØLF 010917. Golden color with no head. Aroma is honey, alcohol. Flavor is honey, apple, citrus, spices, alcohol. Nice.

Bottle. Clear golden body without any head. Soft carbonation and oily body. Nice and delicate aroma of citric fruit, apple, mild honey and some spices. Flavor is sweet with citric fruit and apple cider. Not much honey here at all, but a pretty smooth and pleasant drink. Full bodied and medium aftertaste.
