Dark amber brown color. Big toffee, tobacco leaves and citrusy nose. รœber full bodied. One of the heaviest beers Iโ€™ve ever drank. Well balanced , lots of dried strawberries. Fantastic.

Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, dark amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma escaping the bottle immediately after opening it was wonderwul, tropical fruits and pine cones in abundance. When poured into the glass, itโ€™s still nice, but the maltyness is a bit too evident I think. Some caramel and bready notes. In the flavor the bitterness is king, but the caramel, bready malts do what they can to smoothen it out. Pine cones, some pineapple and a grassy touch too. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with citrus peel, canned pineapples syrup and bitterness. Fortunately not as malty as the initial flavor. Certainly a beer I could drink more of, even though I prefer my IPAโ€™s less malty. 130630

Cloudy amber, small beige head.Light citrus hop nose.Light malt fore, citrus hop mid.Long, medium hop finish. Good malt in back.Nicely balanced Not sure this is the same beer that Mcberko had, this was well balanced, not exactly a hopheads dream. Also this is a 5.7% American pale ale, not an 8% Imperial IPA

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque cloudy golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is very fruity, full of mango and pineapple, resinous hops, and just enough malt backing. Flavour is very dry and bitter, beginning with mangos and pineapple, then transitioning to harshly bitter hops. Finishes on notes of dry bitter hops. Me being a hophead, this is very nice, but I can see how this would be undrinkable to some. Extremely skewed to the hop end of things. Good stuff.

Bottle - Grapefruit and some pine with a malty backbone. Clear copper with a foamy head. Grapefruit and resin with a strong bitterness that tapers quickly. You can feel the alcohol in the finish. Not bad.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear dark copper with a foamy/creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral and caramel. Full bodied. Creamy carb. Flavor is very hoppy, with a lot of caramel. The hop is herbal, earthy, floral, citrus. The flavors are strong, but mixed. Thereโ€™s hop burn. This stuff is stuffed with hops. Amazing ale. Hop wise.

On draught at Daily Grill in the Seattle Sheraton. This was brewed in honor of the Emerald City Comic Con. The beer pours a slightly hazy dark amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and caramel. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
