Founded by Colin Stronge, Lost Cause Brewing is a story of passion fuelled by the belief that no cause is truly lost.
From our base in Castleford, West Yorkshire (it's near Leeds…) at Lost Cause Brewing, we're all about defiance, creativity, and having fun. We brew seasonal beers on our own terms, releasing monthly (or more!) specials and styles, from New England Pales to Sorbet IPAs and Imperial Stouts. Can thanks to cgarvie. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of apricot, light biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Heavy apricot.

This IPA promises vibrant notes of peach and citrus, but unfortunately the expected hop character is largely absent. Instead, the beer comes across as noticeably stale, with muted fruit aromas and a distinct metallic note on the palate. The bitterness feels flat and lacks the freshness and brightness expected from a well-made IPA. Overall, the beer is disappointing and falls well short of the lively, fruit-forward profile it suggests. A fresher, cleaner hop expression would make a significant difference to the drinking experience.

Golden amber with a frothy white head and a citrus and pine hop aroma. Fresh, piney and fruity, sweet citrus and a dry bitter finish.
