440ml can. Jet black colour, initially just some macropore, dark brown bubbles on top, later forms a small, dense, creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing head of identical colour. BA supported, intense and condensed, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, amburana (with aspects of cherry, cinnamon, Black Forest gateau), some smoke, wood, caramel, rum, molasses. Taste is chocolately and mildy roasty, dark malty, BA notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, mild smoke, some amburana (cinnamon, a touch of cherry), a of touch rum, molasses, wood, black pepper; subtle sweetness, well hidden alcohol.
Viscous, almost mushy texture, super smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, creamy carbonation.
Very nice composition, rich, harmonious, balanced and surprisingly homogeneous, excellent mouthfeel as well. Not exactly "drinkable" but uncomplicated, more-ish, addictive - great!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. I spilled a glass that had 3/4 of the beer in it - an expensive mistake… From the remaining 1/4… Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of strawberry, toffee apple and stewed tea. Flavour of caramel, fig and strawberry laces. Medium to full body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is warming and wonderful. I spilled most of this so it’s a great excuse to buy another can. The small amount of beer I tried was sensational. I think Sinnister should consider 330ml cans (or smaller) rather than 440ml cans.
Can from Great Grog (less than a week after the first one I spilled most of…) Clear amber body with a thin off-white head that fades. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of toffee, fig and strawberry syrup. Flavour of strawberry laces, vanilla, candy and caramel. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is utterly delicious. If I was to blend it with a beer, it’d be Cromarty’s Red Rocker.
