Pours clear gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Hay and cracker aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel and hay upfront turning to mild earthy hop in the medium length finish.

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head that's about two centimetres tall, all with a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of grasses, hay, with a lot of dry grainy and yeastie scents along with a bit of a floral scent as well towards the finish. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal flavour at first with a lot of grain, some mellow yeast and a dose of alcohol warmth at the end, while remaining easy to drink. Aftertaste shows some grassy and very perfumey characteristics, with a definitive lager yeast bite and biscuit-like flavour towards the end. Overall, a nice and crisp beer with a strong malt and lager yeast profile showing some bitterness from the malts and only a faint sweetness at the end. Good to sample, and even better considering it came from a New York institution and sampled while traveling on a [non-related] train from New York, while eating a Shake Shack burger! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased a few minutes ago from Shake Shack at Penn Station in New York, New York for US$5,00 sampled on the train from New York to Washington on 02-December-2018.

[ As Blue Point American Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, riped citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, citrus, riped citrus, fruity hops. Bottle pours pale yellow with a big foamy white head. I got this in the fall from wegman's, so it must be past the due date. Date on bottle is feb 18, I think. Smells like many other pale beers but with a hint of sweetness in there. Does have a hint of honey in there, just barely. Not bad, could be a little more civilized for a cream ale style. Nothing nearly as good as Petrucci Brothers Road House Cream Ale, Gizmo Golden Ale-ement or even Brew Keepers Suspension Pre Prohibition Cream Ale. But overall, a somewhat refreshing brew, just needs to be taught a few manners.

Pours clear brown with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet coconut. Tastes contains earthy notes combined with coconut. Palate contains herbal notes that are followed by the readily apparent ABV. Hardly drinkable.

Pounder: Pineapple and grapefruit nose, sharp cheddar accents. Hazy amber, thick head, good lace. Lilly, grapefruit. Medium body, easy carbonation, resinous bitter bite. Tasty.
