Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn. Coal black body, patches on the surface, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting aromas of blackcurrant and dark malts, lightly roasted. Flavoured with grainy chocolate, noticeable blackcurrant to it. Roasted malt-driven finish, mid dry and mid sweet. Medium bodied. Likeable porter version.

Cask @ Tap & Bottles, Southport. Dark clear golden-amber with a small head. Hoppy with a depth to proceedings, certainly making the brew fuller-bodied.
