Borefts XI. Day 2. Bottle - thanks for sharing. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light and creamy sweet malts. Tangy dried fruits and citric peel. Mild spice. Smooth semi dry finish. Pretty anonymous but okay.

0.33 l bottle from 'Speciaalbierpakket.nl', best before December 2021. Almost clear, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity-floral aroma of honey, vanilla, some lemon peel and hints of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of honey, vanilla, some clove and hints of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Ale, a bit too sweet and monotonous for my liking but nevertheless quite pleasant. --- Beer merged from original tick of Voorschotens Blondje on 22 May 2021 at 18:43 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5.
