Cask at The Watch House, JDW, London. Pours clear gold with a faint, white froth. Lemony citrus nose, bisuits and straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with lightly tangy lemon, lightly moist biscuits, mellow hay bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Simple finish, more lemon zest, pale biscuits, straw. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 26/11/2012. Dark brown with red undertones and a decent, off-white head. Sweet, berry fruits and caramel aroma with some milk chocolate. Flavour had more chocolate and fruit, with a sweet edge leading to a dryish, slightly roasty finish. Good.

Pigs Ear. Hazy gold beer. Light crisp palate. Zingy orange and grapefruit hops, not too bitter. A little subtle pineapple underneath. A mild fruity beer, not too much bitterness.

Cask, gravity at Cheltenham Town hall, Cheltenham, Glos weekend of Cheltenham Folk Festival Sat 11th Feb 2012 Amber in colour with a good clarity. This is a fairly simple bitter but nonetheless it is enjoyable. Simple fruity flavours meld well with a middling bitterness. Fine. b> A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3 Had this again on Cask at The St Aldates Tavern, Oxford for (Ferrets birthday beer crawl) in the company of Ferret, Nellie, Phil, Kerry, Bruno, Yogi and others on Saturday 15th October 2016 Pours dark amber in colour fruity but with a good dose of caramel l, lacks a little hoppiness but it’s fine. Looks great and in good condition. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3
