Bottle, 0.5l. Clear copper pour with minimal and short lasting off-white head. Noth the best nose.. quite stale, cardboard. Some caramel. Hm. Thin body, pretty aggressive carbonation. Texture quite watery and light. Can’t define this one. It’s supposed to be Belgian ale... Not so sure about that. Quite messy. Taste is mostly tart with off-placed bitterness towards the finish, slight acidity even. Grains in the aroma. Lots of grains. Grassy. Hay. Cardboard. Citric acid. Undefined malts. Abruptly bitter aftertaste with alcohol presence. Overall... Leave Belgian ales to Belgians. What a mess.

Pours clear, darker amber, topped with thin and nonlasting white head. Mild malty nose, slight biscuity feel with just a hint of dried fruits. Sweet malty start, a bit fruity as well, berry-like. Some alcohol warmth in the finish and a hint of yeast. Nothing spectacular, but not really half bad. Gentler tasting stuff.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear amber pour with minimal off-white head. Practically no lacing. Nose is malty and woody, subtle caramel notes. Thin body. Light and watery texture. Carbonation average to high, quite prickly on the tongue. Mily bittersweet taste. Aroma is moderately malty, some caramel notes, a bit bready. Grainy and herbal notes. Alcohol presence in the aftertaste. Dry finish. Overall, not sure what to think about this one. It feels more like an amber lager to me, so as a belgian strong ale this pretty much fails. However, it’s not offensive or bad. Not a bad beer in general, just missed style. Drinkable.

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy yellow pour with two finger white head. Regular head retention, good lacing as the head collapses. Fresh on the nose with notes coriander, lemon and herbs. Thin body with watery texture. Soft but prickly carbonation. Taste is mostly sour with some mild bitter notes later on. Aroma of herbs, grass. Lemon. Citric acid. Coriander. Wheat. Some cardboard off-notes. Tart finish. Overall, decent. Refreshing but lacking in wheat character. Still, good thirst quencher.
