Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Clear deep amber color with medium creamy off-white head, nice lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, berries, grapes and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt, following is refreshing bready and fruity with pleasant moderate bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Very decent amber ale...

33 cl bottle. Light orange color with a big rocky white head. Hoppy nose. Aroma is predominantly american hops, quite rare in italian brews, with fruity tones of yellow fruit, orange and some grapefruit. In between an IPA and an APA, Taste is mildly bitter, body is light to medium, average carbonation, dry finish. Not as perfumed as american ones but this stile is uncommon in the area, and this is a sort-of-craft beer made purposedly for discount distribution. It’s hones, not too pretentious, quite quaffable.

Flip-top 500ml bottle at the Sep 2014 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange, cheers Paulo for bringing this back from Rome. Poured a dull golden colour with a white head. Malty but slow to come forward in both the nose and taste: dry finish. Not a lot of bitterness or actually anything going on within the brew, not unpleasant, but it lacked oomph and depth for me. Listed here as Heller Bock, would never have guessed that as it’s style.
