(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Slightly citrusy aroma. Rather light in body, some caramel malt, a pleasant fruitiness and a dry, citric finish. 040307

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy - with a light dusty note - English hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of spices and dusty English hops.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a large soapy khaki head. The aroma was tangy, kind of funky and had a hint of root beer. The flavor was tangy, sour and had a light roasty malt presence. The finish was tangy and bitter. Pretty blah.

Bottle. Almost black coloured body with a rich brownish head. Promising chocolate smell. However, the flavour does not match the aroma. Cocoa and some burnt malty taste, but rather watered and coarse-grained texture (rating session in Tromsø, 23.02.2007).

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a brown color with ruby highlights and a small khaki head that faded quickly. The aroma was light sour malts and fruity hops. The flavor was malty, vaguely sour and tangy with a light caramel element. The mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with a small soapy tan head that faded quickly. The aroma was a wonderfully complex and rich mix of ginger, molasses, nutmeg, cinnamon and sweet malts. The flavor had a roasty malt base with elements of ginger, molasses, caramel and nutmeg coming though and a light spritzy fruity hop finish. The flavor while nice does not live up to the aroma. Still a very nice beer.
