Bottle, picked up by Loz’s parents along with some other Daleside beers. Pours a deep amber colour and has a very fruity aroma with hops also present. Strength shows a little, and this tastes really rather nice, with toffee and caramelly flavour mixing with some fruitiness and malts providing a pretty good balance overall.

Bottle, picked up by Loz’s parents, pours a dark brown colour, spicey aroma with ginger, nutmeg etc. Taste is also a little spicey with ginger, malts etc floating around the mouth. Not too bad at all.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with an almost non-existing head. Very fresh and citrusy nose. Light to medium body with vague caramel notes. But otherwise completely dominated by a fresh and fruity aroma hopping. Dry finish. Extremely drinkable session beer. 150906

Poured a maple brown with a white head from the bottle. Initial aroma was sugary sweet and malty. Taste was surprisingly pleasant, roasted malt, brown sugar, a little bit of orange citrus. Finish is clean, not at all bitter. I can’t imagine anyone would dislike this beer.
