Tap at Ruin Brew, thx to the CZ contingent. Clear golden body, off-white head. Lightly fruity, vaguely caramelly, malty aroma. Dry, bitter taste, bit citric, quite astringent. Unimpressive but far better than the other three.

Tap at Ruin Brew. Misty yellow body, no head. Yeasty, phenolic aroma. Fruit? Maybe there was some at some point. Tart, no, actually, sour, veeery sour citric and yeasty taste. Bad and yet the best of the bunch that day...

Tap at the brewpub, thx to the CZ crew. Clear golden body, white head. Somewhat buttery, sweetish, floral aroma. Sourish taste, slightly buttery, light autolysis.... oh, oh wow, and even flawed/old like this it's an enormous improvement to the Kölsch.

Tap at the brewpub... Hazy, murky even yellow-golden body, with an off-whtie head. Grainy, bit farty smokey aroma, yeasty... sharp. Rubbery taste, huge amount of smoke, unappealing really and badly integrated in the smooth, thin body, bit grainy, flat... just a complete mess...

Tap at the brewpub. Opaque golden pour with a white head. Nose is light elderflowers, esters and a touch of malts. Taste is moderately sweetish, with notes of esters, bready malts and a hint of elderflowers, but this latter surprisingly lightly. It’s also kinda stale all in all, not as refreshing as you’d expect from an elderflower saison. The body is also bigger than you’d exoect from the style, especially for the ABV. Kinda meh.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is fruity and zesty, and that lightly acidic character that I usually get from kveik IPAs. Taste is somewhat fruity, it's a tad tart and in the finish there's a hint of bitterness as the sip dries out. I'd swear there's kveik in this. Anyway, there's some citruses, light fruity notes and lime zest combined with grassy notes. Light, dry bodied with a lively carbonation. Not bad, but somehow not quite round.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours copperish with an off-white head. Nose is stale malts, barely any hops. Taste is slighlty oxidized, lots of caramel and honey, there's some vague hoppy character and a touch of malts but it's all very restrained. Ehh.

Tap at the brewpub. Opaque golden pour, white head. Nose is salt and lime mainly. Taste is rather salty upfront, then there's lime obviously, it's not that sour, more like tart all in all. One of the brewers said it's not kettlesoured but there is some lactobacillus in it, so maybe they just straight up added some lactic acid? Anyway even though it's not as sour as I would've liked it's light and refreshing if not too complex or layered, so no complaints here. The salt is borderline over the top tho.

Tap at the brewpub. Copperish pour with an off-white head. I guess it's supposed to be something like SN pale ale, but it's more like a cheap copy of it. It's kinda malty with vague hoppy notes and there are signs of oxidation both in aroma and taste. Kind of a hit n miss.

Tap at the brewpub. Kölschnek semmiképp nem mondanám, inkább egy faék egyszerűségű malátás ivósör. Annak mondjuk elmegy.
