Panda thanks to Cloin for this Greek haul. Practically a clear gold beer, small bubbly off white head that lasts about as long as a politicians promise. Palate is light and semi dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Crisp cooling pine. Bright if thin citrus, a fair old banana note coming from somewhere! Ripe citrus before a light and semi dry finish delivers a decent dose of hop spice. Amusing if somewhat schizophrenic.

Bottle in the hotel on Aegina, picked up Pontopolion Grocery Store in Athens, 14/10/24. Almost clear reddish amber with a pink tinged light beige head that retains well, lacing ensues. Nose is tarte red berry fruit esters, herb, damp oak, light funk, mellow acidic nostril tickle. Taste comprises cherry skins, light acidity, damp oak, barnyard nip, hedgerow, cherry tobacco, tarte fruit rinds, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering bite. Not bad for the style.

Bottle Quite okay ale, crispy, feel of grapes (that's the sauvignon thing?) medium bitterness, quite high carbonation. It's fine
