Commenced Brewing in 2015 as cuckoo at Brass Castle but based in Pickering. Moved to former home of Turning Point Brewery in 2020.

Served from wood barrel at York Beer & Cider Festival 2022. Deep amber gold colour, some off-white bubbles on top and aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate. Taste is malt, caramel, roasty, with earthy nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry malty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, butter - butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, butterscotch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, berries, herbs, hops and malt. Sweet and odd finish.

1/3rd pint at the Doncaster beer festival. Thin beige head. Clear almost black pour. Lots of chocolate. A lovely porter. Best beer of the festival so far.

8/6/2018. Cask at the 27th Doncaster CAMRA Beer Festival. Pours opaque black with minimal beige head. Aroma of malt, nut, chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla and a hint of liquorice and peppermint. Medium sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture. Good brew and my 'beer of the festival'.
