Keg at New Forest Beer Fest. Aroma is has pulpy fruit with a sweet edge. Cloudy amber. Foamy translucent white head. Sweet and sugary and fruity before developing a resinous streak. The sugariness return into the syrupy finish. Medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot.

330ml bottle from Shappen Stores, Burley, New Forest. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Crisp, high carb.. pale malt seems to lead the way over the hops, soft citrussy air. Bit too thin flavoured and gassy overall.

Bottle from Pigbeer Brewery, Brockenhurst. Extremely dark with a small head. Has a light roasted character, with perhaps a bit of smokiness about it rather than the milkiness as suggested on the label.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma had musty coffee and chocolate. Darkest brown. Murky. Thin bubbly beige head. Medium-heavy bitter. Roasty coffee. Then develops a doubly sour streak - berries and sour milk. However the bitterness is there to the last. Hints of underlying sugary sweetness. Light bodied. Slick. Thinner then perhaps expected. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's fine. Flavoursome if on the thin side.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma is fruity, citrus, peach. Golden amber. Fizzy foamy translucent white head soon shrinks to the thinnest of coverings. Medium-heavy bitter. A big dose of citrus, pine and quinine. Underlying malty hints. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough if basis but certainly not a limp Session IPA.

On cask at The Wellington, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and metallic notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and light metallic notes. Lacking in the hops. Very lame.
