Keg at Off The Square, Stow On The Wold, 23/11/24. Hazed orange topped with a lasting white head. Nose is grass, herb, straw, tangy citric zest, wheaten bread. Taste comprises lemon rind, herb, clove, hedgerow, straw, toasted grains, light white peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a dusty hop presence. Solid for the style ... plenty of flavour and not bland/weak piss water as is of the case here.

Can on the Norfolk Dumpling, thanks to the Wingman, 27/01/24. Moderately hazed orange golden with an off white cap that thins tona swirl. Nose is hedgerow, herb, yeast esters, orange peel, hay bale. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, yeast esters, light white peppery spice, herb, straw, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough saison.

7/11/2023. Can shared by Colin, cheers. Pours hazy dark hazelnut brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma starts boozy, chocolate, caramel, malt, touch nutty. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite nicely done.

Can at home, picked up from Cow Shed Drinks, 06/09/23. Clear golden with a billowing white cap ... WARNING ... lively pour ... looks like a Dave job! Nose is orange zest, grass, toasted malts, melon, hedgerow, a touch twiggy. Taste comprises bitter orange, light astringency, grass, melon, hint of pine, toasted malts. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Expected more from them based on my previous rates ... it's okay ... it's fairly bitter and not a disaster but certainly an off note or two ... perhaps a mild infection?
