Third of a pint on cask at the Queen. Medium creamy beige head. Clear Amber pour. Interesting but I'm not sure l I'd order a pint.

Cask at Old Bell, Derby – specially brewed for them, but may be a rebadge Pours a medium reddish brown with a small cream head. Nose has both fruit (redcurrants, strawberries) and nuts. In the mouth it is grainy with red fruits and just a hint of ginger. Finish is bitter but then the fruit shows through. This is a really good bitter – nice and drinkable. NB Untappd says it is 4.2% and a brown ale, but all the people who drank it said it was a bitter, and the pump clip says 4.3% …

Third, cask, shared with Finn at Queens Crafthouse. Lacing rings down the glass, diminishing white head, clear golden body. Grass and ripe fruits on the nose. Taste of lemony hops and grass. Ends dry and fruity. Accepted. (Doncaster 28.01.2020).

Cask at Old Bell, Derby Pours almost black with a small cream head. Strong aroma of vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity, with dark fruits, chocolate and caramel. Finish is malty. Not a wildly exciting stout, but certainly pleasant and very easy drinking for its strength.
