[ As Shiny Crystal Mess ].Unclear - hazy medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, fruity hops, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, nutty, caramel, hoppy, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160220]

Cask @ Sportsman, Huddersfield. Golden with a frothy head. Its strength is not overly evident, and has a crispness in the palate. Has a mild fruit hopped aroma, with a dry hopped taste.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Golden with a small bubbly head. Hopped with a light fruitiness, but its very easy-drinking, easy-supping character dominates.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light citrus hop, light pine needle. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, light, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Beer festival at Furnace Inn, half-pint, draught, shared with Finn. Bubbly, pearl white head, golden-brown in body colour, near-clear. Spotty lacing. Satisfying aroma of dried fruits. Flavoured with ripe citrus and juicy malts. Dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (Derby 21.02.2016).
