Cask at Victoria Inn, Derby. ~pours cchrome yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Some citrus and floral hops in the aroma, but not overdone. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with floral hops and grains plus hints of caramel. After a while it becomes a bit sweeter. It’s OK, but nothing special.

Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Brownish gold and clear with no head. Gentle hop aromas of stone fruit alongside lightly malted bread and iced tea. Sweet fruit character turning bitter toward the finish. Bittering hops impart some peach flavour in the aftertaste. A fairly basic little pale but an enjoyable one.
