Deep dark brown coloured body with a thin, fast-dying brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, alcohol, toffee and a bunch of nuts and earth - pungent. Light-bodied; Sweet and sour cherry flavours at first with a very mellow licorice and malty note, all showing some subdued sweetness from cherries and milk. Aftertaste shows a good complexity with more sour and light cherry flavours than anything remotely bitter or pungent - a very nice and light beer when you wouldn’t expect it at all. Overall, a nice and light stout with a very well-laced cherry and sour flavour throughout - complex! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits (Orange Blossom Blvd) in Orlando, Florida on 31-December-2013 for US$5.99 sampled in my hotel room here in Clearwater, Florida on 02-January-2013.

Total Wine, Fairfax 11.2oz: (best before October, 2014) Pours cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is a whiff of stinky cheese and a bunch of lemon. Taste is like a light and slightly sour artisinal soda, or, at least it is what I would imagine that to taste like. Very light, somewhat lemony. Probably could chug twelve of these, but unfortunately, I doubt that would faze me much.

Total Wine, Fairfax bottle: Bottle was a massive gusher and I lost most of it. Anyway, what was left was a murky amber color with a whitish head. Aroma is earthy, slightly hoppy, with some caramel malt. Basically an earthy off beer. Meh. And I lost most of it.

From a 33 cl bottle. Pours a murky orange gold with a white head. This bottle was a bit of a gusher. Aroma of sour grass. Flavors of grass and some funky yeast. Claims to be a an American Pale Ale but it is not like any that I have had. I had a small glass and poured the rest down the drain.
