Description
Peak Ales Brewery is a real ales craft brewery based in the Derbyshire Dales, UK. Run by Robert and Debra Evans and their team, they have over 100 years of combined knowledge and experience in producing Real Ale Craft Beers.

Born out of love and the challenges of setting up their own micro-brewery Robert and Debra have successfully produced National Award-Winning Ales in casks and bottle beers.

2/10/2022. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours almost clear golden orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of stone fruits, orange, straw, caramel, citrus, lime, melon, chalky husky edge. Moderate sweetness and moderate to medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Sweeter finish developed balanced nicely with the bitterness. Decent.

17/9/2022. Bottle at the Malilla GP beer share. Bought at the Brewery. Pours slightly hazy pale golden orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, citrus, orange, bread, straw, husky fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Slightly creamy, average to soft carbonation. Nice bittersweet finish. Flavoursome English IPA.

28/8/2022. Bottle at the Wroclaw GP beer share. Bought at the brewery. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, butter, bread, sweet malt and biscuit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and a slight sour edge. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Bitter fruity biscuit finish.

Sample, thanks to Grumbo. Pours black, thin tan head. Woody roasted malt aroma. Very light roast presence to taste, soft bitterness, good drinkability, not detecting any spicy blackcurrant or liquorice.

28/5/2022. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield shared at the Prague GP beer share. Pours clear pale orange gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, herbal, veggie, funky, straw, citrus. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Not one of this breweries better ones.

500ml bottle from a shop in Bakewell. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and liqourice. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, dry, roasty, chocolate, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

16/4/2022. Bottle shared with the ITFC boys at the Rotherham beer share. Bought at the brewery. Pours clear dark reddish mahogany brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Good.

16/3/2022. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, sweet malt, citrus, caramel, hint of aniseed. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Some increasing bitterness to finish. Decent session summer golden.
