330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate, dark chocolate, light roast and brandy. Taste is more of the same. Quite rich. Chocolate linger. Liked it.

Bottle from flavoury, pale golden colour very thin white head the evaporated. Aroma sweet elderflower, taste has light sweet elderflower too, very floral, with a slight sourness.

Bottle. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - vanilla, wood and chocolate. Definitely white chocolate actually. Taste - booze and vanilla. White chocolate again. Bourbon comes back on the finish. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - rich and complex.

Bottle at home. Pours clear ruby, nose is cinnamon, caramel, toffee, taste is similar, light sweetness.

Bottle from Beers of Euroe. Amber colour with no head. Aroma has chocolate, berry fruit and vanilla. Taste is sweet, very sweet, and noticeable alcohol.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear yellow gold with no head. Aromas of white chocolate as promised, vanilla, boozy. Taste is sickly sweet vanilla, creamy, fudge. Boozy and a touch hot. Sticky finish. Interesting experiment, but not a big fan.

Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours oily black-brown with a light, off-white head. The nose holds lime, mint, chocolate and chili. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of baking cocoa, lime peel, burnt rubber, a little ash. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with mellow chili spice, some zesty citrus accents, spicy ginger, bittersweet chocolate. Pretty good.

Cask at the moon under water Watford. A amber coloured pour with a lasting g off white froth. Aroma is sweet nutty malts, spicy thistle, grassy, veg hop, little worty on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown bready malts, nutty, grassy, berry, Hawthorne. Palate is grainy, decent cask condition. Bit rough round the edges.
